If you're borrowing a book, you want to make sure you're being a good book citizen in every way possible. In my opinion, books are. And if I did, I'm always super careful with food and drinks around print books so spilling anything would be very unlikely.

But it would depend on the condition of the book when I borrowed it. If it was in pristine condition, I'd offer to buy a new copy, and if my friend said that wasn't necessary, I'd give them another small gift or something.

You just need to configure it with your library (overdrive) account info. For my purposes, Aldiko has much better reading features than the Overdrive app itself.
